Sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been wrapping up left over commissions  from Comicpalooza (which I’m still unfortunately not done with), and generally not feeling well, so it’s been a bit rough. I’m waiting on a bit of information, but by next week I should have something really fun to announce about Transyltown. In the meantime, as Transyltown will still be on hiatus while I rebuild my buffer of comics and, plan a few other things related to Transyltown, I will continue to have other kinds of updates here on the site. Expect a new Coffins and Compendium entries in the coming weeks. If you have any specifics you want to know about the Transyltown characters or their creation let me know!

In other news, I have a new webcomic launching this Wednesday called Crackers and White Wine on http://www.mytalkinghead.com/comix/. It’s very, very, very, different from Transyltown or any of the other things I’ve written/drawn here Brass, hence the new home. Crackers and White Wine is a purposely incendiary gag a week comic that takes serves as a scathing, but funny critique of the thing that makes me angry the most: ignorance. It may not be everyone’s cup of tea, but it’s for me to sometimes channel anger into something I find fun. For a feel of the kind of strip it will be check out this comic I did with Meredith Nudo for the Draw The Line non-profit group that promotes intersectionality in education on sexual violence.

The My Talking Head site is run by the incredibly fun and great to know man, Jeremy the Artist, who post his own demons lurking in his head on the site. And I have already penned a few upcoming collaborations on CWW with Meredith Nudo, a writer at http://dorkshelf.com/ and an awesome friend, who is co-writing an upcoming project with Jeremey the artist called Snake Bite.

As you can see there’s a lot of exciting stuff coming, and I’ll be involved in even more stuff, so stay tuned for more announcements. I’m going to start reducing the amount of conventions and other events that I make appearances at for a while because I’ve seen how it can take me away from creating as much as I’d like to, and I love to create. I’ll see you guys again here next week! Until then, here’s a video of me inking an artist trading card of Timmy!
